Yumiko Kamiya's presentation discusses the levels and trends of population aging in the US. She presents the major drivers of population aging and introduces two United Nations databases: one on Household Size and Composition and another on Households and Living Arrangements of Older Persons. The latter contains a compilation of indicators on the household composition and living arrangements of persons aged 60 or over, using household roster micro-data from censuses and household surveys conducted in 196 countries.
