It will explore Loneliness and Its Solutions.

How do I apply for the 2021 training?

Is there a cost to attend the Age Boom Academy?
No. Thanks to a generous grant from the RRF Foundation for Aging and additional support from the AARP Foundation, Age Boom Academy Fellows who are accepted to participate do not pay any attendance fees; a welcome dinner, as well as breakfast and lunch at the Friday and Saturday program are provided. For Fellows residing outside of the New York metropolitan area, travel costs will be covered.

Meals will be provided during the training.  Local transportation, meals outside the training, and any incidentals are not covered.

Where will the Academy be held?
The sessions take place in New York City at Columbia’s Journalism School on the University’s main campus. There are many easily accessible transportation options to and from the hotel including the M104 bus and the 1 train.
